Fundraising Tips :

1 . Choose a wall,
patio, walkway, monument or other structure for the use of the NameBricks.
|
2
. Decide on how many bricks you will need. A one
square foot area takes 4.5 bricks.
So an area of 20' x 30' will take about 2700 8x4
brick pavers. (20x30=600x 4.5=2700 bricks)

3.
Choose someone to be the Fundraising Director, you will also need a advertising
, and sales person.

4. Marketing
and Advertising the NameBricks. A few ideas here are to use direct mail.
Send letters to Past and Present Alumni. Also use phone
sales. Take out an ad in your local newspaper and also use the radio for advertising.
Involve key Community Leaders.

5.
Have an Open house to help promote your new project and tell everyone of this
Once in A Lifetime Chance to have their Name Engraved in Brick.

6. Finalize a
Deadline for the NameBrick brick drive. You will have a good idea of
how many bricks you will need to meet and exceed your goal.

7. Most of my jobs I have seemed to really take off
"AFTER" the walkway or monument or wall has been completed, so make sure you will have extra room
for future NameBricks. AS most of my past jobs continue for years to come.
